Before I joined Elmbrook Labradors I was a dancer. I moved to Wales to begin my dancing career in 2012. I moved back to Essex in 2014 and pursued my love for animals. I passed my Basic & Beginnings grooming course before joining the Elmbrook Team in 2015. I have a level 2 in Puppy Training and currently studying a level 3 Canine Behaviour Management. I am very passionate about animal care and thoroughly believe dogs are man’s best friend.

My furry friends at home are three very mischievous ferrets and one cat whom I adopted from Elmbrook.

A born animal lover, I started volunteering at a cat sanctuary when I was 12 years old & animals have always been a massive part of my life. Prior to Elmbrook Labradors I had a career in Fine Art Insurance & have worked for Lloyds of London & Sotheby’s Auction House. I then returned to my true passion of animals & began working for Battersea Dogs & Cats home, which was an invaluable experience. I have also worked in a veterinary surgery & have volunteered at numerous animal rescue centres. I have gained various recognised animal qualifications including a distinction in a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management. My next challenge is to embark into the world of dog grooming qualifications, which should really benefit the Elmbrook Labrador customers. I have been a staff member of Elmbrook Labradors for over 5 years now & am really proud to be a part of this wonderful organisation.

I have a mad border collie that loves coming to work with me & two big fluffy cats at home.

My whole life I have always had a passion for working with animals. I began my training at Writtle College with a level 2 qualification in animal management, as part of my course I completed a year placement at Paradise Wildlife Park. My main jobs included feeding and cleaning out the enclosures. I enjoyed working alongside the Meercats. I joined Elmbrook Labradors in October 2016 on a work experience bases, and I am now part of the Elmbrook team. My favourite part of working here is being able to care and love the dogs. I wish to further my career and study for a level 3 in the future.

I have 2 cats one is a Siamese and the other is a tortoiseshell.

I have always had dogs in the family for as long as I can remember. My first dog, Butch, was 9 months old when I was born.

For many years I have been interested in dog agility and I currently compete with my Border Collie Grace, this is how I came to be working at Elmbrook as Louise trained with her dog Bert and she told me about the vacancy, this was in June 16 and I have really enjoyed my time here with my colleagues and of course all the wonderful dogs.

Most of my spare time is taken up with training and competing at agility shows throughout the year. I also keep fit at the gym which helps me keep up with Grace.

I have three Border Collies, Megan 10, Grace 5 and I have just got Teddy who is 18 weeks. He will be my future agility dog, he can start the training at a year old.

I am keen to improve my knowledge and looking into completing some courses in animal management and behaviour in the near future.

Veterinary Physiotherapist

I joined Elmbrook Labradors in February 2014, working weekends and throughout the school holidays, whilst I initially completed my A levels.

I very much enjoy being part of the amazing dedicated team looking after the various breeds within their care, all with differing temperaments and characters, some with special dietary needs or specific medical conditions.

I am a qualified canine first aider and in August 2018 I successfully completed an integrated master’s degree, and am now a qualified veterinary physiotherapist.
